About Us

David Levin is the founder of the
Levin Law Firm, a law practice in Alameda, California focusing on
trust and estate matters, as well as business consulting for closely
held companies. He also teaches Wills and Trusts on the faculty at John F.
Kennedy University School of Law in Pleasant Hill, California. Mr. Levin’s practice, philosophy, and client base
draw from a broad legal career serving clientele in a variety of
settings including government, business and private practice.
A
member of the California State Bar since 1991, Mr. Levin began his
career as a trial attorney and litigator. Earlier in his career he
tried several cases before juries and litigated matters
involving insurance, personal injury, employment and business claims.
Since 1994, Mr. Levin has successfully mediated more
than seventy-five matters ranging from trusts and estates to
commercial, employment, real estate, community, and domestic
disputes. As a private mediator and trainer he has worked with several
organizations including the University of California, Chevron
Corporation, Dolby Laboratories, Tegal Corporation, Spherion
Corporation, Golden Gate University, Northern California Human
Resources Council, State of California Employment Development
Department, and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Levin is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, where he received his
Bachelor of Arts degree, and University of San Francisco, where he
received his juris doctorate. He is also completing an LLM degree in Tax at
Golden Gate University.
